Welcome Our New Board Members

As we approach the holidays and end of 2018, we are honored to welcome three new members to our Board of Directors. Each individual brings valuable experience and expertise, as well as a passion for our community.

Our Board of Directors is made up of community leaders that are dedicated to upholding the mission and vision of TruExpansion Foundation and making a positive impact and enriching lives.

Vernon Hadnot

Owner, Director, Editor and Producer of D210SPORTS;

D210SPORTS became the first Texas independent producer to contribute programming to Spectrum Sports in 2010 and currently airs on Spectrum Cable Channel 15.

D210SPORTS is your all access sports credential to the Dallas Cowboys, Dallas Mavericks, Dallas Wings, FC Dallas and SMU Athletics the in Dallas, Texas Metroplex Area.

D210SPORTS is a cutting edge and fast paced 30 minute sports video magazine show. D210SPORTS provides viewers with an all-access credentialed sports pass and is produced in Dallas, Texas.

Hadnot has worked as a Director for Fox Sports Networks on The Drew Pearson show and won numerous national awards for public service announcements, commercials, movie theater ads, training videos and live on air television broadcast.

Vernon Hadnot is a husband, and father to two daughters. His oldest attends Oklahoma State University.

 

Dr. Charie Wesley Price

A native of Dallas, Texas, and an urban educator with 20 years of experience in public education. Dr. Price currently serves the needs of educators and children as an instructional specialist in Fort Worth ISD. Prior to Dr. Price’s current assignment, she served in the roles of assistant principal, area instructional specialist, curriculum director for a small charter district, Reading Department Chair, and as a classroom teacher.

Before taking her “Leap of Love” into education, Dr. Price worked in the following technical roles: project/move coordinator, desktop support analyst, technical phone support, and technical sales support for companies in the airline industry and a small technology firm.

Dr. Price received her Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems from Grambling State University (Grambling, Louisiana) and both her Masters in Education Administration and her Doctorate in Education Leadership, from the University of North Texas (Denton, Texas).

Dr. Price is a member of the following organizations: Kappa Delta Pi Education Honor Society (KDP), National Association of Black School Educators (NABSE), and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.

Dr. Price is wife to Kendall and mother to 3 active young men. In her spare time she enjoys reading, traveling, and spending quality time with family and friends.

 

Diana Franklin

Mrs. Diana Franklin is a native to the Dallas metropolitan area. She attended the University of Texas – Arlington where she graduated with honors with a Bachelors of Science in Research Psychology.

Diana continues to push the limits of excellence by having joined The U.S. Army Medical Department. She is a Captain serving as a Medical Services Officer. Her exceptional performance and reputation has led her to great opportunities.

Diana has worked at the strategic/executive level for a Three-Star Commanding General, serving as a Medical Operations Officer. As a Medical Operations Officer, she was responsible for managing, facilitating, and tracking the “total health concept” of service members, by directly engaging Commanding General Officers at Two-Star Commands throughout the United States.

Currently, Diana works at the U.S. Army Reserve Command level for a One Star General as the Regional Program Manager for the Sexual Harassment/Assault Response and Prevention (SHARP) program. Working as a SHARP Program Manager she manages and oversees the Sexual Assault Coordinators, sexual assault and harassment cases and engages with a number of external organizations (CID, Legal, Medical, and Community Resources) for a Command with more than 8K Service Members.

Working for a Three Star and One Star Commanding General at the strategic/executive level has certainly provided her unparalleled leadership experience.

Despite public or private organizations, her exposure and experience have consistently been in the realm of Health and Wellness.

Diana is a member of the following organizations: Psi Chi National Honor Society and Golden Key National Honor Society and has volunteered at the Wounded Warrior Transition Unit and Meals on Wheels, amongst many other.

In her spare time, she enjoys volunteering with at-risk youth, reading, watching documentaries, working out, and spending quality time with her family.
