The Rotary Club of Dallas made a special visit to DISD Elementary Schools on Wednesday for the "I like me" annual reading program. The Rotary Club of Dallas presented each student with a personalized book with their name as the main character. DISD teachers submitted applications for each child to The Rotary Club of Dallas prior to the annual visit. This project aims to inspire students to develop a love for reading.

Dallas Police Department and Dallas Firefighters joined the Rotary Club of Dallas on Wednesday morning to visit classrooms and present students with their personalized books. Volunteers also spent the morning reading to students.
